Even if I’m more the digital guy, I shoot my photos mainly on black and white film. I love the process of creating artefacts in the form of negatives. The exposed piece of film was there and caught the photons at that moment in time. It’s frozen light, a paused world caught in silver. By doing prints in the darkroom, the process is reversed when light is shining through this artefact and creates another artefact on paper or canvas.
